Today Eevee’s throat was really hurting. So her parents (Slothy and Sausage) took her to the Pusheen doctor. The doctor examined her. She looked in her throat and she felt around her throat, and she said, “You have tonsilitis. Your tonsils are going to have to come out.”

But the Pusheens didn’t know what tonsils were!

Here’s what they learned:

“Tonsils are the two lymph nodes located on each side of the back of your throat. They function as a defense mechanism and help prevent your body from getting an infection. When tonsils become infected, the condition is called tonsillitis. Tonsillitis can occur at any age and is a common childhood illness.”

In a few days Eevee got her tonsils removed it was really hard to find a doctor who would do it though. After the removal Eevee got a lot of ice cream.
